This is how the adventure starts.
I look out my front window and I see a furry little thing bathing itself. I just knew one of my cats had escaped from the backyard and I was going to be angry. But when its little ears popped up, I knew that wasn’t a cat. It was a bunny! I grabbed the half eaten bag of carrots from my fridge and set out into the driveway. I threw a couple of carrots under the car in front of my neighbors house to see if the bunny would bite, literally. It ate the carrots. I was thinking Bugs had just made it fashionable, but no bunny’s really do like carrots.
I captured him in my cat carrier (with a little help from the neighbor) and took a picture. I used this picture to put up signs in the neighborhood to find the owner. This bunny had to be someone’s pet.
Then, before I left for work, I emailed the picture to my husband so he would know what he was in for that night!
